WorkSAFE

We can help your employees make all the right moves. With our comprehensive Memorial WorkSAFE ergonomics program, your company can improve employee satisfaction and reduce workplace injuries caused by repetitive tasks.

Repetitive strain can affect anyone, whether work involves heavy objects or a computer keyboard. It is a significant contributor to Workers’ Compensation claims and lost production time, and can cause painful injuries that require a great deal of therapy, even surgery. Our certified ergonomic specialists will help you prevent costly injuries and provide your employees with a safer, healthier workplace.

We offer three levels of service to best fit your company’s needs:

Ergonomic Consultation: Our specialists will evaluate a job process or a group of workstations to address any ergonomic problems or concerns, and to help prevent work-related injuries and improve productivity.

Job Analysis: We will organize a specific job activity or classification to ensure that proper ergonomics are being used for optimal performance and safety. A Job Analysis may also be used to develop a job description that is physically measurable, as well as provide criteria for post-offer or pre-employment tests.

Workstation Analysis: We can work one-on-one with a specific employee to evaluate and improve methods for completing tasks in ways that reduce the risk of injury. If you wish, we can combine this analysis with a Functional Capacity
Evaluation to help match an individual’s abilities to specific job requirements.

Once an evaluation is complete, we will provide a comprehensive report to let you know what’s working well and what needs improvement. Then we’ll work with you to educate your staff on proper techniques and strategies to reduce workplace injuries.

Memorial Center for Occupational Health is acknowledged as a Certified Advanced Ergonomic Clinic by Advanced Ergonomics, Inc. Our services are offered in partnership with the Memorial Regional Rehabilitation Center.
